About

Simon Tan was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley and is now pursuing a 5th Year Masters in Computer Science, with an emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction. Besides taking any Computer Science courses that have a connection to HCI, he enjoys partaking in many courses at the School of Information.

Background

Currently, there are mobile ESL games being made for single users in developing countries. The children were observed to be collaborating a lot when playing these games. So, we want to create collaborative, multiplayer games to see if these games will convince the users to play more and if the users will learn better.
