Studio Session II
From CS 160 Fall 2011
Scenario/Storyboard
Take the ideas you generated from the group brainstorm and once again choose:
- The best idea
- The worst idea
- The most creative idea
Evolve them into scenarios, i.e. into short stories of use that happen in a certain time and place among certain people. They could be like the augmented reality game from the sketching and storyboarding lecture. Draw each scenario as a storyboard. Don’t try to be artistic (unless that’s easy for you, but still try to be quick), but try to efficiently communicate. This form of scenario focuses first on the people and the situation where the game is used, and secondly on the interactions that occur with the device. It’s good to include some interaction with the device – again use the AR game storyboard as a model – but make sure people and surroundings are in there.
When you have three scenarios drawn we will do the critique session.
